Partnerships and Industry Collaboration:

  • Establish partnerships with industry, government, and non-profit organizations to enhance educational offerings, provide practical experiences, and facilitate job placements for graduates.
  • Encourage collaboration on research projects, internships, and fieldwork.
  • Common determination of the Sylabus

Sprint GUtech combining Research Department and Architecture department 


Curriculum Development:

  • Design a comprehensive curriculum that covers essential aspects of water engineering, including hydrology, water resources management, and environmental engineering.
  • Incorporate practical and theoretical learning, emphasizing current challenges and innovative solutions.

Potential GU Tech Living Lab Launching 

Infrastructure and Facilities Planning:

  • Design and construct facilities that support the specific needs of water engineering education, such as laboratories, research centers, and simulation environments.
  • Ensure access to water bodies or simulation setups for practical learning.
  • Ensure eLearning software installation 
  • Ensure AI agent assistant specification

Accreditation and Compliance:
  • Obtain necessary accreditations from relevant educational and engineering boards to ensure the program meets industry standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international educational regulations and standards.

Pre-launch on a 20 students on a proposed option for year-4  of  Sesame and GUtech student  : Sept 2025

If GUTech Initial launch well received > Launch of a full recrutement in OMAN GUTech 

Faculty Recruitment and Development:

  • Recruit experienced professionals and academics in the field of water engineering to develop and deliver the curriculum.
  • Provide ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure faculty stays current with advancements in the field.



2026
Student Recruitment and Admissions:
  • Develop and implement a marketing and recruitment strategy to attract students.
  • Establish admissions criteria that align with the program's academic and professional objectives.



Sept 2026

Innovation centre launched on Smart Water School living lab ( along the architecture smart construction )

Launch and Continuous Improvement:

  • Officially launch the water engineering school and welcome the first cohort of students.
  • Implement a continuous improvement process to regularly update the curriculum, teaching methods, and facilities based on feedback and emerging trends in water engineering.
