The Agence de la Vulgarisation et de la Formation Agricoles (AVFA) is an organization in Tunisia focused on agricultural extension and training. Founded in 1990, the Agence de la Vulgarisation et de la Formation Agricoles (AVFA) is a public administrative institution in Tunisia with civil personality and financial autonomy. AVFA is dedicated to implementing agricultural training and extension programs aligned with the country's economic and social development plans.
Agricultural Advice: The advisory service in agriculture and fisheries aims to disseminate good agricultural practices and valuable research findings to enhance productivity and income.Its key missions include contributing to the national policy design and implementation in agricultural and fisheries training and extension, developing and evaluating training programs, coordinating with professional training institutions in these sectors, and supporting regional agricultural development commissions (CRDA) with pedagogical and logistical assistance.
Additionally, AVFA produces and distributes technical materials and designs professional training programs for farmers, shipowners, fishermen, agricultural workers, and provides ongoing training for extension agents, technicians, and supervisory personnel.
